A year and a half. Damn, every time I hear about someone being here for more than a year it's crazy.

[It often makes him think about his own time here. Will he be one of those people? Or will he be gone tomorrow? Slipping out as suddenly as he slipped in, without a word to the friends he's made here. As much as he misses home the longer he stays her the more frightening a thought that is.]

That's a good point about the arrivals, though. I think I'll try and track time like that too.
